Appointment as a Director to the Board of Dublin Port Company
The company has identified specific objectives and strategies within its Strategic Plan 2017-2021 in respect of the effects of Climate Change. In this regard the over-arching objective is to develop and implement a multi-faceted plan which identifies the likely long term impact of climate change on Dublin Port and which sets out specific goals to mitigate and adapt to these impacts.
The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified members of the public to serve as a Director on the Board of Dublin Port Company.
Applicants must demonstrate experience, at an appropriately senior level, in environmental matters, including climate change/environmental sustainability as follows:
- - Strong record of engagement on environmental matters, including, but not limited to, climate change
- - Such experience may be in a State, commercial, not for profit or other capacity
- - A relevant qualification
Applications are also welcome from individuals who have not previously served on a State board or in a public sector role, but who can demonstrate, in their application, the relevant experience and skills for this position.
